Caroline B. Cramer Q.C. was the first chairwoman of the Manitoba Human Rights Commission, former Vice President of the Canadian Statutory Human Rights Agency and Chairperson of the Mental Review Board for 10 years.
Graduated from the Manitoba Law School with honours, she was the only woman in her graduating class. She articled with her father Ernest A. Brotman Q.C. who was a prominent lawyer and City Alderman.
Caroline B. Cramer Q.C. is experienced in real estate, estate planning, and other areas of the law. She advocates for seniors and the environment, and was part of the founding board of Jazz Winnipeg. She was appointed Queens Counsel in 1982 and has appeared before various tribunals including Queens Bench, Workers Compensation Board, Court of Appeal, and The Supreme Court of Canada.
